Breaking News - 4 September 2019. Well, it has finally happened, my own photographic show in the very heart of the area where I pursue my fascination with the cast of characters who live, work and play along Brick Lane and its surroundings. BRICK LANE LIFE is the title of the exhibition and it runs for the whole of October 2019. The venue, Kahaila Cafe, 135 Brick Lane, London E1. I very much hope that you can find the time to visit, Kahaila Cafe serves great coffee and snacks and you'll find it not far from the famous Beigel Bake shop at the northern end of Brick Lane just before Bethnal Green Road. Take a camera, you'll almost certain to meet personalities like Samy Chabani - see above.

Wander down Brick Lane, meet Dillan, Mick, Yuri, Eugene, Stelios and many others

Meet Akuc, Slone, Jenna, Tota (tattoo artist extraordinaire) and some who didn't leave a name.

I have been recording the changing faces of this wall for about 4 years, trying to add a human element

Not all of my images are by request. Here are some candid moments around the Lane,

I
needed a project to kickstart my mojo. Great response from many of the Brick Lane tattoo parlours.
